Can I use your music?
Sure, within limits. So far, all of the music I’ve copyrighted, published, and posted here and on YouTube and elsewhere is under Creative Commons “Attribution-NonCommercial” License. Here is the short description of this particular license from the Creative Commons website:
This license lets others remix, tweak, and build upon your work non-commercially, and although their new works must also acknowledge you and be non-commercial, they don’t have to license their derivative works on the same terms.

In other words: Please feel free to download, distribute, print, play, and perform my music in public or private, for any non-commercial use, if you only credit the composer. Nothing would make me happier. You can even modify the music if you like. (I left this in so that performers would feel perfectly safe to add ornamentation and so on, but really you can do whatever you like. Just know that there will be some restrictions on how you can license your derivative works. Read about the details here.) The big restriction, though, is that use must be non-commercial, unless you get permission from me. If you want to make some money off the music, through recording, publication, performance, or otherwise, then just shoot me a message first and we’ll work something out.
